Had trouble getting the free gsddata profesional for free as stated. It only brings you to the create user account and then reports that there is already a user with that email address.

I got registered the first try without any problems at all.

It signs me and shows my ID but then also says ID currently expired tho just registered last week.

Will not let me search. Prior to this when could get search to work still would not do sibling or offspring searches.

Is this a BETA site? If so you need to tell people up front. It looks to have great POTENTIAL BUT until you get it working it's

just frustrating people and sending them away.

First and foremost thank you for a great DB and new ideas. A couple of problems and ideas if I may. You advertise professional membership free yet there continues to be problems. I previously left a message under the user id of VKFGSD. I continued to have access problems so finally just created a new user id which worked for the most part until this week. Now once again the board tels me ID currently expired and denies me access to information. If the free membership is limited to a month or two you MUST in all fairness state that up front.

I think this is a wonderful website and well worth supporting - when the bugs have been taken out of it. As long as you have to struggle to get it to work consistently people will be less likely to put up the bucks for membership (lots of time it times out on me or will not pull up 2nd generation info even when there or progeny lists etc. Go back later and you can get it ).

I love the bloodline feature - could you offer something similiar for the dam lines? I don't find the inheritance tree terribly useful but maybe I just don't understand how to use it.  I also do not really use the breakdown between males and females on the HD and ED statistics. I look at the whole picture. What I would love to see in place of these two subsets is information about how many titled progeny or siblings (VPG,SCH, FH, KNVP, etc etc) and the show and KKL ratings of progeny/siblings. Compilations on that would be great.

May I also ask where you are pulling the HD/ED info from since people can upload a dog to the db. Are you relying on what people input or does the hip data come from other sources? Also when you show a dog had produce x progeny - where does that number come from- the SV or what had been uploaded to the database?  Thanks for  any info you can share. Just trying to gauge how reliable the site info is.

For me personally there is an additional reason I have not subscibed - I am currently unemployed and looking for work. But once I'm back to work and the DB glitches have been fixed, I will happily become a subsciber as I think this information is useful and vital.  Thanks again for your hard work.

Could someone please help me?  I found this website by accident and I think it is great.  I submitted one of my dogs but realised I should have put the names the other way around.  In Australia we have the kennel name first then the registered name but the way I have submitted the entry it is showing it differently to how we recognise our names.  Can I fix this myself as I notice the field for the name is now not available?  I also submitted the sire and dam that are already registered here but it did not upload any further than the sire and dam on the registration I submitted yet both parents have full pedigrees on their entries.
